Challenges Of 7Hills

There is no easy road to paradise and victory comes with a price. The nature of work of 7Hills poses health risks to the workers who have limited equipment to guarantee their safety. This in turn causes absenteeism from work and therefore frustrated the work, workers, objectives and aims of the organization.

Another challenge has been budget constraints. This has made it difficult to attain protective gear for workers that handle sewage making treatment of the workers difficult. The KCCA medical facilities have also proven non effective as they have not adequately handled accidents that workers attain on duty. This has made work difficult as it stretches the available work force and thus causing slowness in work. The budget constraint has also seen several members left out of work therefore stretching the already available workforce.

The lack of garbage tracks to facilitate the removal of garbage and silt after cleaning has made the work of 7Hills fall short of perfection especially when the rains come and push the dirt removed back into the channels. This has made work stagnant and non-evolving.

The creation of parallel and counter initiatives just like 7Hills has brought confusion therefore slowing down work and also defrauding the government.

Political interference has frustrated the work of 7Hills and no protection has been provided for the workers. This creates a dilemma of sorts and puts workers in a tough position which makes their ability to execute work very difficult.
